How it works

How it works

Our Sebel RePlay Programme* is as simple as 1,2, 3, 4


  1. Old Sebel chairs showing signs of sun damage and physical wear are put away in storage
  2. Sebel collects these chairs for a small fee and returns them back to the factory for processing through a granulator
  3. The granulator breaks down the old chairs into recyclable plastic pellets, ready to be moulded into new chairs 
  4. Sebel uses these recycled plastic pellets to create new products, ready to revitalise your space sustainably

We’re currently working with Sydney Olympic Park, giving their old seating a new lease on life! By partnering with Martogg, we’re grinding their old seats down into plastic chips, transforming them into recycled materials to use for new seating, and upgrading their facility responsibly. We’re not only reducing waste but also promoting sustainability by recycling materials that would otherwise end up in landfill.

Yes, you can drop off your chairs at our Minto factory, at no additional freight charge, however handling fees still apply, and only by prior arrangement. 
Our friendly team will arrange to collect your old chairs for a small handling fee per chair plus freight charges. Just get in touch with one of our team to arrange a hassle-free quote.

Yes, we will arrange to collect your old chairs from your school, office, or organisation at the next available date.
At this time, we are only accepting old Sebel single moulded chairs.
We can collect broken or damaged chairs, provided it is safe to do so.
  1. Only Sebel branded furniture qualifies for this program.
  2. Chairs dropped off at the Minto factory will incur a $5 per chair fee.
  3. The program is currently running in NSW metro only.
  4. Items that pose a safety risk to our staff will not be accepted.
  5. Freight fees will be calculated based on the number of chairs collected.
  6. This programme operates strictly by appointment, with the next available slot being offered.
  7. Our collection service is unavailable during peak season which runs from 1 November to 28 February.
