Hot Stamping Guide: A Durable & Custom Branding Solution for School & Office Furniture

Hot stamping is an advanced marking technique that allows schools and offices to personalise their furniture with logos, labels, and branding. Using heat and pressure, this method creates a durable and professional imprint on chairs, stools, and other surfaces—perfect for institutions looking to enhance identification and aesthetics.

The perfect way to put your mark on your learning or working space.

Printed locally in Australia, Hot stamping is a precise and durable method of applying designs, logos, or text onto various materials, including plastics. This technique involves transferring colored foils onto a surface using heat and pressure, resulting in a high-quality, long-lasting imprint.

The Hot Stamping Process:

  1. Die Preparation: A custom die, featuring the desired design, is mounted onto a hot stamping machine.
  2. Heating: The die is heated to a specific temperature suitable for the material and foil being used.
  3. Positioning: The item to be stamped is placed beneath the die, and a colored foil is positioned between the die and the item's surface.
  4. Stamping: The heated die presses down onto the foil, transferring the design onto the item's surface through a combination of heat and pressure.
  5. Completion: After a brief time, the die is lifted, and the foil carrier is removed, leaving the desired imprint on the item.

This method is perfect for customising furniture, and a highly durable method of printing school, business or community names and logos directly onto the surface of our chairs and stools, to give them an elevated and bespoke feel.
